A few impressions from Auzon and Rue Longue

Next job will be in January

I have made an agreement with another English builder who lives locally and he will do some more work in my house in January. He will basically finish the construction work on the loft, adding plasterboards to divide the rooms, wire the electrics, expanding the bathroom in size and fitting a shower. After that I will paint the walls white, stain the beams and floors dark brown and the loft is finished!

Job done and everything back to normal

The wall is now fully sealed and I will get a lot less dust in the room.

A bit messy

It was a bit of a messy job to cover the wall with PVA but it went on easily.

First day of work...

I started early with the sealing for my stone wall and had it all done by 2pm. I decided to do a second layer and started on that. Will finished the second layer and post photos tomorrow.

A Stop over in Paris

New travelling date

Due to strikes, chaos and pouring rain in France I had to change my travelling date. Hopefully it will all be fine again when I finally get to go on Saturday 11th. My trip will include a night in Paris so I will arrive in Auzon on Sunday 12th.

Auzon in June

I have just booked my next trip to Auzon.
Will be going down there the first week in June. I am going to get my hands dirty doing some work on the top floor myself. My main job will be to seal the stone wall.
I really look forward to it....yes I mean it!
The seal primer has been sent down from the UK. Apparently it is difficult to get it in France.
