Last work of the year - kitchen floor and top of the stairs area.

Kitchen floor varnished and walls painted. 

Plaster-boarding top of the stairs area - this is coming along well.

Hot water tank cupboard - painted kitchen walls and a visitor!

 

This week - work on kitchen entrance and ceiling!

 

Loo and bd connected and concrete on top of stairs!

 

Getting there with the bathroom....

Its been difficult and time-consuming to connect the UK made sink and toilet to the French sizes pipes that are all a bit different.

This week - bathroom floor grouted, walls and ceilings plastered!

Bathroom tiles finished!

Its not easy to get this perfect

Getting the floor ready for tiling with a special levelling compound with extra

 fibres to strengthen it and make it water resistant.

Sink,BD and toilet are not yet fixed as the floor has to be fitted first.  

Sink drain is in, just needs connecting when floor is done
