More plasterborading

Light fittings in the ceiling and plasterboard coming up!

Dining room walls

 Support for plasterboard and insulation on all walls!

Materials arrived!

Cement for for library floor, frames, insulation and plasterboards for all walls.

Preparations for the new tiled floor in the library!

Ceiling lamp for above the dining table!

Pointing around bedroom window now finished!

 

Tiling at the bottom of the stairs finished!

Kitchen tiling now finished!

More tiling work in progress in kitchen and at the bottom fo the stairs!

The door got a few coats of light oak wood stain!

A new lamp and a familiar picture in the hall

We went shopping!

Oak floorboards for the living room and white ceramic tiles for the kitchen wall above the worktop

From todays morning walk...

I walked up the hill on the opposite side of Auzon. The view was great and you could just see the door and windows of my house between the trees.

Wild-growing lavender and lots of orange butterflies 

Beams being removed!

Most of the beams were removed today, new beams and an extra helper will arrive on the 10th of July

Floor boards coming off.

Sadly we have to remove the old floorboards, they will be replaced with new solid oak boards.
