The wood burning stove....

It is cold in Auzon in the winter and a wood-burning stove is needed. This is the one I chose and it will be installed this summer.

Plasterboards and ceiling lights on the ground floor.

Work started on the ground floor!

The first job was to concrete the floor, which will be covered with terracotta tiles later.

Gutter downspout replaced.

Something new from the old....

This is going to be a bookcase made from old window frames and old floorboards. 

 

Library stairs (reclaimed wood)

The stairs were made from the original old oak floorboards.

Plasterboard next to the stairs.

 

New curtains and curtain rail in the bathroom.
